Legendary progressive rock greats Emerson, Lake & Palmer were founded in 1970 by brilliant keyboard virtuoso Keith Emerson, gifted singer, songwriter and guitarist Greg Lake and dynamic drummer and percussionist Carl Palmer. ELP, the founding fathers of progressive rock, together created the supergroup concept and are one of the most important bands in the history of rock music. They helped expand the genre's audience to millions of listeners. One of the most commercially successful rock bands of the 1970s, ELP's first seven albums reached the Top 10 and Top 20 in the US. Although Keith Emerson and Greg Lake tragically passed away in 2016, their inspirational music lives on. This new 4LP anthology (color vinyl with Galaxy Effect) showcases the immense musical talent of all three members and provides an excellent overview of ELP's career.
