"Pictures At An Exhibition" is the third album by British progressive rock supergroup Emerson, Lake and Palmer. In 2016, the legendary long player will be re-released in a remastered version. "Pictures At An Exhibition" was originally released in 1971, after the band recorded it live at Newcastle City Hall in the same year. It features a reinterpretation of Russian composer Modest Mussorgsky's piano cycle "Pictures At An Exhibition" and an encore of "Nutrocker" - Kim Vincent Fowley's rendition of a rock version of the march of the tin soldiers from Tchaikovsky's "The Nutcracker". The album reached number three on the UK album chart in 1971.
