Historic Collection Jimi Hendrix fans, be warned: a special collection of live recordings by the rock legend, Songs For Groovy Children: the Fillmore East Concerts, will be released in 2019. "Songs For Groovy Children" features all four debut concerts by Jimi Hendrix's Band Of Gypsys, which consisted of Hendrix, Billy Cox on bass and Electric Flag drummer Buddy Miles. The shows were professionally recorded on New Year's Eve 1969 and New Year's Day 1970 at New York's Fillmore East. A total of 43 tracks await on five CDs or eight LPs, some of which have never been commercially released. The audio material has been remixed by Eddie Kramer and restored unaltered.
