The Grateful Dead: Workingman's Dead version on vinyl LP in Remastered edition. This particular edition was published in Europe and USA in publishing company Warner Records in cooperation with Rhino Records (2) on 20. October 2021.

On June 14, 1970, the Grateful Dead released the album "Workingman's Dead", which was completely different from anything the band had released up to that point. Psychedelic improvisations and folk-rock influences gave the album a new sound. WORKINGMAN'S DEAD was recorded at Pacific High Recording Studio in San Francisco and produced by Betty Cantor, Bob Matthews and the band themselves in just nine days. In Blair Jackson's book Garcia: An American Life, it is stated that Garcia suggested to his bandmates, "Let's do the whole thing in three weeks and get it over with as quickly as possible." Since the aforementioned Mr. Hunter was on the road with the band during the last tour, the Dead had plenty of material to work with. Had it only contained "Uncle John's Band" on one side and "Casey Jones" on the other, WORKINGMAN'S DEAD would still be in contention for the title of the Dead's best studio album, but as a whole it really serves to define the band's sound in a way that none of their other work can. Critics loved it from the start, with Rolling Stone magazine awarding it five stars and naming it the best album of 1970, and more importantly, it proved to be by far the best-selling album of their career, peaking at #27 on the Billboard 200, while none of its predecessors had ever made it past #64.
