David Bowie: Low version on vinyl LP in Standard edition. This particular edition was published in Italy in publishing company RCA Victor in cooperation with RCA year 1977.
Low is an album by David Bowie , released on RCA Records in January 1977. It was Bowie's first album since 1973, when he retired from touring after the "Ziggy Stardust" tour, and his first album of new material since 1974's "Diamond Dogs". Low was the first of three collaborations with Brian Eno, whom Bowie met in 1975. The album was recorded at Hans' studio in West Berlin and featured contributions from Bowie's longtime friend and collaborator Iggy Pop. Low is hailed as one of Bowie's most experimental and innovative albums. It was well received by critics, who praised its production and Bowie's new direction. The album was also commercially successful, reaching number two in the UK and number eleven in the US. The track "Sound and Vision" was released in the UK as a single and the track "Heroes" was released in the US. The subsequent album "Heroes" (1977) was released in October 1977. Low is widely regarded as one of Bowie's best albums. In 2003, it was ranked 287th on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.
Album spans genres Rock, Electronic, Art Rock, Experimental and Ambient.
