David Bowie The Lodger album, released in May 1979, was the last of the so-called "Berlin Trilogy" after Low and Heroes. Unlike its predecessors, Lodger was recorded in New York and featured a more pop sound. The album was not as well received as its predecessors, but has since been re-evaluated and is now considered a classic. The album's lead single, "Boys Keep Swinging", reached the Top 10 of the UK charts and the album itself reached number 13 in the UK Albums Chart. The album Lodger also spawned the singles "DJ", "Look Back in Anger" and "Fantastic Voyage". The album's title track has been covered by a number of artists including The Cure, Siouxsie and the Banshees and Placebo.
