Fair Warning is the fourth studio album by American hard rock band Van Halen , released in 1981. The album was produced by Ted Templeman and the album artwork was designed by Michael Whelan. It was the band's first album to feature keyboardist Eddie Van Halen's son Wolfgang Van Halen on bass guitar. The album was a commercial success, reaching number six on the Billboard 200 chart and selling over two million copies in the United States. It was certified double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.
