1972's "Demons & Wizards" picked up right where the previous album, "Look At Yourself," left off, cementing Uriah Heep's status as one of the best bands of the era. Due to some personnel changes, the fourth album was the first to be recorded with what is still considered a "classic" line-up. With new members Mark Clarke and Lee Kerslake, Uriah Heep managed to take it a step further. Thanks to the singles "The Wizard" and "Easy Livin", the British band achieved great commercial success. Although the title and cover art suggest a clear shift towards romantic medieval themes, Uriah Heep's music on "Demons & Wizards" is in many places harder and more expressive than before.
