When The Who's My Generation was released on Brunswick Records on December 3, 1965, a musical revolution was programmed. Years later, for example, the music database All Music rated it: 'It was an explosive debut album and the hardest hitting 'mod pop' record with the strongest guitars and drums ever recorded'. To this day, My Generation is still considered by critics to be one of the best rock albums of all time, with Mojo magazine naming it the second best guitar album of all time. "Last but not least" a remastered mono CD and download version of The Who's debut album "My Generation" is awaiting release. "My Generation" was released in late 1965 and the original mono version is considered the holy grail by Who aficionados because it faithfully captures the sound the band envisioned at the time. In addition, the mono version contains various overdubs that have been lost in contemporary stereo masterings.
