British musician Sting is releasing the album My Songs on May 24. The collection, which will be available in several formats including a deluxe edition, features Sting's most celebrated hits dressed up in 2019-appropriate garb. Some have been revamped, some have been rebuilt, some have been given a new frame, but all are musically set in the present day," Sting adds to the album's characterization. In addition, the album includes liner notes in which Sting shares the personal stories behind and from each of the songs.Martin Kierszenbaum, who has worked with Lady Gaga and Robyn in the past, among others, and Dave Audé, who is responsible for the music of Bruno Mars and Selena Gomez, are behind the production of My Songs. The mixing of the album was done by Robert Orton (Lana Del Rey/Mumford & Sons).My Songs will be released on CD, vinyl and as a deluxe edition, which also includes live recordings of Synchronicity II, Next To You, Spirits In The Material World and Fragile.Sting is one of the most distinctive and influential artists. Since performing with The Police in the 1970s, he has risen to become a music industry icon, selling 100 million records and winning the most prestigious awards (for example, he has been nominated for a Grammy 17 times). He is the author of the hits Englishman In New York, Fields Of Gold, Shape Of My Heart, Every Breath You Take, Roxanne and Message In A Bottle.
