When Rush recorded their sixth album, "Hemispheres," in London, the three Canadians were well prepared and spent more than a month rehearsing and tuning their instruments. "We had to be perfect," says singer and bassist Geddy Lee. "We had to push ourselves and elevate our game... It was a very ambitious record." Hemispheres was a challenging album, but it represents a pivotal point in Rush's history. The album perfectly encapsulates where their heads were at the time, and showcases the trio's ability to create a sweeping conceptual aesthetic that comes to life through skilled and inventive musicianship - 28-page booklet with previously unreleased photos and new cover art by Hugh Syme - 5, 700-word Edited Essay by Rob Bowman.
