"A Momentary Lapse Of Reason" is the thirteenth LPm album by Pink Floyd. Originally released on September 7, 1987, it was the band's first studio album after Roger Waters left the band in December 1985. The eleven songs were mostly written by David Gilmour, who was also responsible for production along with Bob Ezrin. Recording took place at Gilmour's Astoria studio on a houseboat and at Mayfair Studios in London. The title "A Momentary Lapse Of Reason" is a line from the song "One Slip", which is on the full-length album. The album reached number three in the UK and US and even reached number two in Germany. Pink Floyd's legendary 13th album finally back on vinyl in 2017 This is what Pink Floyd vinyl lovers have been eagerly waiting for. The rock legends are gradually re-releasing all their albums on LP. In June 2016, they had already started with the band's first four albums, which were gradually followed by more albums. In 2017, the series continues with "A Momentary Lapse Of Reason". The songs on the reissue were remastered by James Guthrie, Joel Plante and Bernie Grundman. All reissues of the series are released on 180g heavyweight vinyl. The cover art is the original design. Finally: Pink Floyd's legendary thirteenth album returns on LP in 2017 with "A Momentary Lapse Of Reason".
