Metal Church is a thrash metal band from San Francisco, California, formed in 1984. The original lineup consisted of vocalist David Wayne, guitarist Kurdt Vanderhoof, bassist Duke Erickson and drummer Kirk Arrington. Generation Nothing is the band's eleventh studio album, released on October 22, 2013. The album was produced by Vanderhoof and mixed by Jay Ruston. It is the first album singer Mike Howe has contributed to since his return to the band in 2010, and the first album drummer Jeff Plate has contributed to since his departure in 1995.
