The Outer Limits is the fifth studio album by Canadian heavy metal band Voïvod , released on July 13, 1993. It was the last album by the band to feature original bassist Jean-Yves Thériault before his departure in 1994. The album was recorded at Le Studio in Morin Heights, Quebec and mixed at The Plant in Sausalito, California. The Outer Limits is a concept album about a group of astronauts stranded in space who must find a way to return home.
