The band's retro-futuristic surf-pop sound still evokes the same charming punk noise as before, but this time it's filled with a compilation of elegant influences between Ennio Morricone, disco-rock of Marie Et Les Garcons and The Velvet Underground. "Mystère" is the foundation of La Femme's new penchant for oriental sounds; Turkish disco, Tuareg blues and medieval psychedelia lean towards Brian Eno and Pink Floyd.
