La Femme is a French psych-punk rock band established by keyboard player Marlon Magnée and guitarist Sacha Got in Biarritz. The band's music is a fusion of coldwave, punk, and surf music, with a varied musical style that includes elements of yé-yé, krautrock, and electronic influences. They first received attention with their EP "Le Podium #1" in 2010, which featured the track "Sur La Planche." In 2013, they released their debut album "Psycho Tropical Berlin," which won the Victoires de la Musique award for Best Debut Album. The band continued to build on their success with subsequent albums such as "Mystère" in 2016 and "Paradigmes" in 2021. La Femme is known for their theatrical live performances and their use of a wide range of instruments and electronic sounds. Their work has contributed to the resurgence of interest in French pop music on the international scene.
