Blues redemption by Joe Bonamassa It was only earlier this year that Joe Bonamassa paid tribute to his blues heroes with the live album "British Blues Explosion Live". Now the blues-rock icon returns with another new studio album. "Redemption" is the title of the virtuoso guitarist and singer's thirteenth release, due out in 2018 on the Provogue/Mascot Label Group. Twelve tracks await, recorded by Joe at Blackbird Studios and Addiction Sound Studios in Nashville, Studio At The Palms in Las Vegas and The Cave Australia in Sydney, among others. Production was handled by old friend Kevin Shirley. Bonamassa is assisted on the record by drummer Anton Fig (David Letterman Band), bassist Michael Rhodes, keyboardist Reese Wynans, horn players Lee Thornburg and Paulie Cerra, vocalist Gary Pinto, backing vocalists Mahalia Barnes, Jade McRae, Juanita Tippins and even two additional guitarists, Kenny Greenberg and Doug Lancio.
