In 1984, the legendary Deep Purple Mark II line-up of Ritchie Blackmore, Ian Gillan, Roger Glover, Jon Lord and Ian Paice returned, having not played together since 1973. Deep Purple recorded a new studio album "Perfect Strangers" and immediately went on tour. This concert was filmed in Melbourne, Australia and is the only complete concert footage of the band from this period. The setlist combined new songs from "Perfect Strangers" with early seventies highlights such as "Highway Star", "Strange Kind Of Woman", "Child In Time", "Black Night" and "Speed King", culminating in a brilliant finale with "Smoke On The Water". Bonus material includes a documentary about the tour.
