A masterpiece from the concert archive of rock legends It's happening again: in 2021, Deep Purple will release "Live In Wollongong 2001", another masterpiece from the Soundboard series, which uses rare concert recordings from the band's archive. Several of these recordings have previously been released in fan club editions. Others will be available for the first time. All recordings have been remastered to ensure optimal sound quality. "Live In Wollongong 2001" is a musical trip back to 2001, when Deep Purple once again performed in one of their favorite countries: Australia. The recording was made on March 13, 2001 at the Wollongong/New South Wales Basketball Arena and shows the rock legends in absolute form.
