Chineke! Orchestra was formed in 2015 and on this album reinterprets some of Bob Marley's most famous songs in contemporary classical orchestration. Now this 10-song masterpiece is finally available on CD and vinyl! Chi-chi Nwanoku, founder of Chineke!, said of the album: "My goal is to create a space where black and ethnically diverse musicians can step on stage and know they belong, literally. My hope is that if even one child from a racial minority feels that the color of their skin is standing in the way of their musical ambitions, I will inspire them, give them space, and show them that music, no matter what, is for everyone."
