Sir Willard White is a renowned Jamaican-born British bass-baritone opera singer, celebrated for his rich voice and versatile performances. Born on October 10, 1946, in Kingston, Jamaica, White's musical journey began at the Jamaican School of Music before he continued his studies at the Juilliard School in New York. His professional debut occurred in 1974 at the New York City Opera as Colline in Puccini's "La Bohème." Since then, White has enjoyed a distinguished career, performing with leading opera companies across the world, including the Royal Opera House, Metropolitan Opera, and La Scala.
