Released in 2014, Memoirs of a Madman is a compilation of songs from his solo career as well as songs from his time in Black Sabbath. The album was produced by Osbourne and Kevin Churko. Memoirs of a Madman has been praised by music critics. The website AllMusic awarded the album four and a half stars out of five, calling it "a career-spanning retrospective that is as entertaining as it is comprehensive". They further stated that the album "shows Osbourne's impressive range, from the heavy metal thunder of 'War Pigs' to the bluesy 'Mama, I'm Coming Home'". The album debuted at number six on the Billboard 200, selling 33,000 copies in its first week. It has since been certified gold by the RIAA.
