Japanese Hip-Hop Producer and DJ

Nujabes, born Jun Seba (瀬葉淳) on February 7, 1974, was a highly influential Japanese record producer, DJ, composer and arranger renowned for his atmospheric instrumentals that blend jazz with hip-hop. He was a key figure in the development of the chillhop and lo-fi hip-hop genres, creating music that was both meditative and rhythmically complex. Nujabes' career took a significant turn when he founded his own independent record label, Hydeout Productions, through which he released his debut album "Metaphorical Music" in 2003. This album established his signature sound and garnered a dedicated following.
