Brian Eno

British ambient music pioneer and producer

Brian Eno is a highly influential British musician, composer, record producer, and visual artist, known for his pioneering contributions to ambient music and his work in rock, pop, and electronic genres. Born Brian Peter George St. John le Baptiste de la Salle Eno on May 15, 1948, in Suffolk, England, he began his career as a member of the glam rock band Roxy Music in the early 1970s. After leaving the band, Eno embarked on a solo career that produced innovative and experimental works including the 1975 album "Another Green World," which blended elements of pop, minimalist, and avant-garde music.
