Product information Dieter Meier, an heir-turned-conceptual artist, founded the electronic synthesizer group Yello with Boris Blank in the late 1970s. Combining samples and beats with Meier's deep and expressive voice, Yello became experts at combining elegance with eclecticism. One Second was their fifth album released in 1987. The most striking tracks on the album are "The Rhythm Divine", featuring Shirley Bassey on vocals, and "Goldrush", for which a beautiful music video was filmed and made its way onto music television. This is the first reissue of One Second since its original release. To celebrate the re-release, we have remastered the album to a high quality and included an exclusive bonus track: "L'Hôtel".
