Slide It In is the sixth studio album by English hard rock band Whitesnake , released on 15 March 1984 by Geffen Records. The album was recorded at AIR Studios in London from July to September 1983. It was produced by David Coverdale, John Sykes and Mick Moody. Slide It In was the band's first album to feature Sykes and Moody, who replaced original guitarist Bernie Marsden and bassist Neil Murray respectively. The album reached number six on the UK album chart and number twenty on the Billboard 200. The album was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for shipping one million copies in the United States. The album spawned four singles, "Slow an' Easy", "Love Ain't No Stranger", "Give Me All Your Love" and "Is This Love". The album Slide It In received mixed to positive reviews from music critics. Some critics praised the album for its bluesy hard rock sound, while others criticized it for its lack of originality. The album was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal at the 27th Annual Grammy Awards.
