This album is a compilation of live performances from the Concert for George benefit concert held at the Royal Albert Hall in London on 29 November 2003. The concert was organised by Eric Clapton and his wife Pattie Boyd in memory of their friend and former Beatles member George Harrison, who died of cancer in November 2001. The album featured appearances by Clapton, Jeff Lynne, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.
