Vangelis' 1977 album Spiral is a masterpiece of electronic music. The individual tracks are very different from each other, but they all fit together perfectly to create a cohesive album. The album opens with "Theme from Spiral", a beautiful, haunting track that sets the tone for the rest of the album. The next track, "Sunrise", is a more upbeat song that is full of energy.
