Vangelis' 1977 album Spiral is a masterpiece of electronic music. The individual tracks are very different from each other, but they all fit together perfectly to create a cohesive album. The album opens with "Theme from Spiral", a beautiful, haunting track that sets the tone for the rest of the album. The next track, "Sunrise", is a more upbeat song that is full of energy. "Aurora" is a slower track that is full of emotion, and "Interlude" is a short, atmospheric track that leads into the next song. "Celestial Whispers" is a beautiful ballad that is perfect for late night listening. "Voices" is a powerful song that is full of energy, and "The Landing" is a beautiful, quiet track that ends the album perfectly.
