The Who celebrate their birthday in Hyde Park When The Who hold a concert in their hometown to celebrate their 50th birthday, concert halls are no longer enough. Something bigger is needed, Hyde Park to be precise. And on 26 June 2015, they completely sold it out. A total of 65,000 people celebrated the big anniversary with the band. "The Who: Live In Hyde Park" is the title of the film that captures this live spectacle in perpetuity. A mixture of concert film and documentary, it shows a band that shows no signs of age, on the contrary: Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend put on an electrifying show. They are accompanied by Ringo Starr's son Zac Starkey on drums, Pino Palladino on bass and a breathtaking light show. The Who's repertoire during this summer evening is a cross-section of their entire career. They'll play all the big hits they've been known for since 1964, including "Baba O'Riley," "My Generation," "Pinball Wizard," "Who Are You," "I Can See For Miles," "See Me Feel Me" and "Won't Get Fooled Again." In addition to the nineteen tracks, "The Who: Live In Hyde Park" also includes extensive and interesting additional material. Members of the band and their notable associates, including Iggy Pop, Robert Plant and Johnny Marr, share their anecdotes about the band.
