The Doors: The Very Best Of The Doors version on 2CD in Standard edition. This particular edition was published in Europe in publishing company Elektra in cooperation with Rhino Records (2) on 22. January 2015.

Four decades after The Doors were founded, "The Very Best Of The Doors" provides a condensed look at one of the most daring and influential bands in rock history. The album is released on a single CD with 20 tracks and a double CD with 34 songs. On both formats you'll find classic tracks like "Break On Through", "Hello, I Love You", "Riders On The Storm" and of course the oedipal drama "The End", which can also be heard on the double CD in an uncut long version. All of the tracks have been remixed, both by the Doors themselves and by Bruce Botnick, who was once on site as engineer and producer.And now comes the absolute bombshell: all six studio albums have been remixed under the supervision of The Doors and the producer at the time. The songs now sound clearer and, shall we say, more modern. But they haven't lost any of their origins. All CDs contain a large number of bonus tracks.
