Tangerine Dream: Tangram version on CD in Remastered edition. This particular edition was published in Europe in publishing company UMC in cooperation with Virgin on 6. November 2020.

The first official studio album from the Franke, Froese, Schmoelling line-up returns to the classic sequencer sound, but also contains echoes of the melodic days of Tangerine Dream. It stayed in the UK Top 40 for five weeks and became the fifth best-selling album. Though TD's trademark sequencers make only brief, if substantial, appearances, "Tangram Set 1" is unusually warm, blissful and balmy, while the crunchy synth motifs and urgent electronic rhythms that appear during the ever-changing "Tangram Set 2" suggest that Froese and co. were already well on their way to planning the unexpected assault on the dance floor they made on 1981's Exit.
