T. Rex: T. Rex version on CD in Remastered edition. This particular edition was published in Europe in publishing company A&M Records in cooperation with Universal Music Catalogue on 11. March 2014.

Universal is releasing two legendary albums from the Tyrannosaurus Rex and T. Rex catalog, A Beard of Stars and T. Rex. A Beard of Stars (1970) and T. Rex (1971) show Bolan shortly before his big break, and each comes with a bonus disc of additional rarities. A Beard of Stars feels smoother and more accessible than previous releases of Tyrannosaurus Rex. Some of the previously unreleased recordings on the bonus disc have been selected by T. Rex expert Clive Zone. He has also provided memorabilia for the booklet. When Bolan began work on the T. Rex album in the early summer of 1970, the Beatles had broken up and a certain pop-music crisis was in the air. Bolan himself was also becoming increasingly dissatisfied. When he finished his new song Ride A White Swan on July 1, 1970, it was a revelation. The reward was a megahit the following winter! Among the bonus tracks is a version of Ride A White Swan recorded especially for the Top Of The Pops programme.
