The Dream of the Blue Turtles is Sting's first solo album , released in 1985. A number of jazz musicians contributed to the album, including Branford Marsalis on saxophone. The album was a critical and commercial success, reaching number one in the UK and number two in the US. The album spawned the hits "If You Love Somebody Set Them Free" and "We'll Be Together". The album was certified triple platinum by the RIAA.
