Sting: Ten Summoner's Tales version on CD in Remastered edition. This particular edition was published in Europe and UK in publishing company A&M Records on 25. May 2000.

As Rolling Stone magazine noted in its review of the album, Sting's band seemed capable of "playing anything" at the time. Equally remarkable was the fact that, despite surrounding himself with 18 seasoned musicians - including former David Bowie saxophonist David Sanborn - the album felt live and reflected Sting's newfound ease. Ten Summoner's Tales is arguably his most energetic recording to date, seemingly harking back to the jazzy excursions of his earlier solo albums - though they are now delivered in a softer, more radio-friendly manner. If Sting was waiting for a hit, he was richly rewarded. While the U.S. was all consumed by a wave of nihilistic grunge and the U.K. was in the throes of retro Britpop reboots, Ten Summoner's Tales came a comfortable second on both sides of the Atlantic, winning three Grammys, including Best Male Pop Vocal Performance for one of the undisputed highlights of Sting's solo catalog, "If I Ever Lose My Faith In You."
