Of course, there is only one way: to launch a ninth rocket into the heart of the heavy metal world. In other words, SABATON's new album - another concept album from the treasure trove of fascinating military history - is done and we couldn't be happier about it, says SABATON bassist and songwriter Pär Sundström - and continues, "The title of our new magnum opus is 'The Great War', and in its rich musical and lyrical exploration we delve into the dark and bloody atmosphere of the First World War. This desperate war of 1914-1918 shook the entire planet and had devastating consequences that are still being felt today. The First World War was also supposed to be the war to end all wars.
