Rick Wakeman, who was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2017 with Yes, has worked with many rock stars throughout his career, including David Bowie, Lou Reed, Cat Stevens, Black Sabbath, Elton John and Queen's Brian May. May can be heard as a guest musician on Queen's classic song "Bohemian Rhapsody". The album is Rick Wakeman's journey to his musical roots and influences and highlights milestones important to his artistic development, including two classical works, Franz Liszt's "Liebestraum" and Georg Friedrich Handel and Antonin Dvorak's "Largo. All works were recorded on the legendary Granary Steinway D grand piano. Rick Wakeman says of the album. Each track has its own meaning and is precisely matched to the piano. It has been a great pleasure to put this album together and I thank everyone whose enthusiasm has helped make this "piano odyssey" a reality."
