For a change, m b v's third album is their most experimental, but also their most melodic and immediate; a true testament to their unwavering desire for reinvention. Continuing to push the boundaries of music and genre, m b v is an album full of amazing music, some of which could be described as never before created. Ethereal, intimate and intimate, m b v is a surprising and beautiful metamorphosis of what was known as the My Bloody Valentine sound, pushing the boundaries of genre like no other band. The album's final track, "Wonder 2," exemplifies how Shields' hypnotic guitar blends with drum'n'bass to stunning effect.
