Following the release of "Here Comes The Cowboy" (2019), which Billboard says is his most introspective and polished work to date, Mac DeMarco's new album "Here Comes The Cowboy Demos" is out now. The album was written and recorded at DeMarco's Jizz Jazz Studios in Los Angeles, and he played almost all of the instruments on it himself, with only select keyboard tracks recorded by his close friend and touring member Alec Meen. The LP's disarming simplicity and emotional versatility have long been among DeMarco's musical hallmarks, and the new release includes only demo recordings of the album, which reached the Top 10 of the Billboard 200. Mac DeMarco has released a total of five studio albums, two live albums, three compilation albums and five EPs.
