Like other Crimson albums, this album was not initially well received by the press. In the interim, however, its reputation grew immensely, so much so that in a review of the 2004 box set "21st Century Guide to King Crimson", this album was considered to be the point where Fripp created the guitar blueprint for the entire post-punk movement. The seventh release of classic King Crimson albums on high quality 200gram vinyl. The album returns to the classic vinyl format and was cut from a master newly authorized by Robert Fripp.
