Product Information - A double-CD history of King Crimson featuring many excerpts and songs appearing on CD for the first time Packaged in a fold-out digi-pack style DVD case with a 24-page booklet - Originally only available at concert venues on King Crimson's sold-out fall 2014 US tour and as a mail-order item - Highly sought after by fans, hence the expanded edition. The Elements tour box was invented specifically for the recent King Crimson tour. A limited number of units were also available via mail order for those who were not lucky enough to live within easy reach of the cities covered on the US tour. It sold out quickly at the venues and the mail-order stock was depleted within days, so it is now getting wider circulation in the same format so fans don't have to pay higher prices for copies on auction sites. The compilation presents a fascinating sonic history of the band, featuring snippets of the current line-up in rehearsals before the tour, elements from studio recordings, full songs, alternate takes, live tracks and finished recordings from 1969-2014, many of which appear on CD for the first time. All line-ups are represented on the double CD. The accompanying booklet includes sleeve-notes by co-writer Sid Smith, photographs of memorabilia, full details of recent tour dates & a number of photographs of the band & individual members of the 2014 line-up taken by Scarlet Page.
