When Belew, Fripp, Gunn and Mastelotto re-formed as King Crimson after the Project, they turned into a duo and recorded the album The ConstruKction of Light. For an album with a construction theme in its title, it's perhaps fitting that it underwent the most radical changes and was rebuilt from the ground up. The loss of the original electric drum recordings allowed Pat Mastelotto to record the material entirely on his current acoustic/electronic drum kit, creating a new album of familiar material. The album is presented in a new stereo and 5.1 surround mix, along with the original mix, bonus material and the complete ProjeKct X Heaven & Earth album released as a companion volume to the original album.
