Discipline is the seventh studio album by British progressive rock band King Crimson, released in 1981. The album was recorded in England and produced by the band's guitarist Robert Fripp and Rhett Davies. Discipline is a departure from the band's earlier work, featuring a more stripped-down sound and shorter songs. The album was well received by critics and was a commercial success, reaching number 20 on the UK Albums Chart. The album's title track is one of the band's most popular songs and many musicians cite it as an influence. It is a fast-paced progressive rock number featuring Fripp's signature guitar solos.
