This special concert features 3 different sets: an acoustic performance, a rare set with the John Mayer Trio (with Steve Jordan and Pino Palladino), and a set with Mayer's full band. John Mayer's album Where The Light Is contains 22 songs and features a unique track list - all recorded on the night of December 8, 2007 at the NOKIA Theatre in Los Angeles. His famous live acoustic cover version of "Free Fallin'", originally by Tom Petty, was released as a single from this album to widespread critical acclaim. Guitarist magazine gave the album five stars, stating that this release proves that "Mayer is a complete singer, songwriter and guitarist". That pretty much says it all!
