"Cuts & Bruises" navazuje na debutové album Inhaler "It Won't Always Be Like This", které se dostalo na první místo oficiální hitparády ve Velké Británii i v Irsku. "It Won't Always Be Like This" se stalo nejrychleji prodávaným debutovým albem kapely v tomto století a Inhaler se díky němu stali první irskou skupinou, která se s debutem dostala na vrchol albové hitparády po 13 letech.

Rok 2022 přinesl neúnavné koncertování s řadou festivalových vystoupení včetně prvního vystoupení na Glastonbury, návrat domů v dublinském Fairview Parku a vystoupení jako support kapel Arctic Monkeys a Kings of Leon.
