The album title "AM" of Arctic Monkeys' fifth album suggests exactly that and much more. It all resonates here in a lapidary way, or as drummer Matt Helder says in typically straightforward fashion, "This is the album we've always wanted to make."

Recorded in a small studio in East Hollywood with longtime collaborator James Ford behind the mixing console, Arctic Monekys' fifth opus was recorded in their adopted home of Los Angeles and takes the best elements of their two previous albums and gives them a fresh new twist.
