Arctic Monkeys release a damn fresh album in early September, possibly the best in the band's history! It features guest appearances from Josh Homme (QOTSA), Pete Thomas (Elvis Costello) and Bill Ryder Jones!

AM - the band's initials stand for much more: the beginning of a new day, an analog radio frequency and an existential statement (of being). The album title "AM" of Arctic Monkeys' fifth album suggests exactly that and much more. It all resonates here in a lapidary way, or as drummer Matt Helder says in typically straightforward fashion, "This is the album we've always wanted to make."

Recorded in a small studio in East Hollywood with longtime collaborator James Ford behind the mixing console, Arctic Monekys' fifth opus was recorded in their adopted home of Los Angeles and takes the best elements of their two previous albums and gives them a fresh new twist.
"AM" features guest appearances from Josh Homme (QOTSA), Pete Thomas (Elvis Costello) and Bill Ryder Jones.
