David Gilmour's "On An Island" from 2006 is a masterpiece. The album is a blend of rock, blues and country and is one of the most beautiful albums I have ever heard. The lyrics are poetic and Gilmour's voice is as smooth as ever. The album is relaxing and soothing and is the perfect album to listen to when you want to unwind and escape from the world.
