"Outside" je dvacáté studiové album Davida Bowieho. Brian Eno, který Bowieho podporoval už na Berlínské trilogii, se k němu opět vrací.

Album má podtitul "The Ritual Art Murder of Baby Grace Blue: A Non-linear Gothic Drama Hyper-Cycle" a Outside se točí kolem postav dystopického světa na prahu 21. století. Album vrátilo Bowieho do mainstreamové rockové hudební scény díky singlům "The Hearts Filthy Lesson", "Strangers When We Meet" a "Hello Spaceboy" (v remixu od Pet Shop Boys).

Autor časopisu Time Out napsal: "[Stavba] zvuků, kultur, rytmů, samplů a textur s nevybíravými texty, které se nesnaží ani tak vyprávět příběh, jako spíše vytvářet slovní nálady, nabízí otevřeným posluchačům Bowieho nejlepší album za posledních 15 let."
