Creedence Clearwater Revival Cosmo's Factory was released in 1970 and is the band's fifth studio album. The album was recorded at Wally Heider's studios in San Francisco and at Fantasy Studios in Berkeley, California. The album was produced by John Fogerty, Creedence Clearwater Revival , and Saul Zaentz. Cosmo's Factory was the band's first album to feature bassist Stu Cook and drummer Doug Clifford, who replaced Tom Fogerty and brother John Fogerty, respectively. The album was a commercial and critical success, reaching number two on the Billboard 200 chart and being awarded triple platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America. The album's lead single, "Up Around the Bend", reached number four on the Billboard Hot 100. The second single from the album, "Run Through the Jungle", reached number 10 on the Billboard Hot 100. The third single from the album, "Lookin' Out My Back Door", charted at number two on the Billboard Hot 100. The fourth single from the album, "Long as I Can See the Light", reached number three on the Billboard Hot 100. The album Cosmo's Factory has been praised by music critics since its release.
