Produced by Carl Bown and Colin Richardson (Slipknot, Machine Head, Trivium) at London's Metropolis Studios, Venom proves to be an uncompromising and hard-hitting take on Bullet For My Valentine. Their heaviest album to date immediately grabs the listener by the throat, thanks to the powerful delivery of singer and guitarist Matt Tuck, the biting riffs of guitarist Michael "Padge" Paget and the barrage of drumming from Michael "Moose" Thomas. On Venom, the trio perfectly maintains its signature balance between heaviness and urgent melodies, taking the album to the next level. "It's hard to sum up a full album after you've spent so much time writing songs and recording and blood, sweat and tears flowing," says frontman Matt Tuck. "It was hard to go to extremely dark places because of the lyrics, but once I recorded Track, it was okay for me to let some of the themes out - and all hell broke loose. This album is definitely the most aggressive we've ever recorded, and lyrically it's definitely going to make a lot of people take notice."
